Old Hard Drives- Clone Drives

PC Virus Doctors' are recommending cloning drives that are 2-3 years old because of the bad sectors that develop on the platters that are storing the digital data before data is lost and data recovery. Once bad sectors develop on these old hard drives it becomes a "domino affect" where the drive will slowly deteriorate and degrade. Once this happens the only "repair" is to replace the drive.

Dallas Computer Repair is recommending moving data from infected drives over to new installed drives after the data has been scanned and is cleaned from malware. These old hard drives may and often will not survive long scans and the malware authors infect these drives where they will not be viewable if slaved to other computer systems for cleaning.

Dallas Laptop and Dallas Computer Repair recommends replace hard drives every 2-3 years to avoid pain and loss of data which is often family pictures, business data, etc.

Cloned drives will look exactly like the old drive that is replaced including all the data and drivers. Users will never notice a change with the new drive for the exception that the desktop or laptop runs much better.
