Antivirus IS Basic- Rogue Program

Rogue Antivirus' can be extremely difficult to remove at times and Antivirus IS Basic is a rogue program that falls into the difficulty category.

The laptop recently worked on was infected with three rogue programs, that's right, three. Many of the security vendors do not have a fix on the current rogue malware version that PC Virus Doctors is about to clean and remove so we are using independent tools not commercially available.

Several commercial vendors either do not find the rogue malware or Windows reports the other commercial antimalware scans have stopped.

The scanning and cleaning are slowly about to come about and the files have been found, now it is just a matter of eradication.

This is a previous customer who deleted all of the programs PC Virus Doctors gave to him except one that was updated 3 months ago. Had the customer updated his antivirus and antimalware he should have been able to get rid of Antivirus IS Basic on his own. Call PC Virus Doctor's to remove rogue programs proclaiming to belong to Microsoft.
