The fake program feigns as a savior for damaged systems yet it hogs system resources and will not stop scanning for "problems" until it has finished, at times. The program will stop updates on malware removers, will prevent new malware removers from being installed and will not let current anti-malware programs to execute.

The program surreptiousely installed on a customers computer without giving a "warning" but silently installed during an "adobe update", mostly likely a hacked legitimate website or a website intended for distributing malware by luring web surfers to it by optimized content in order to attract particular users to high profile subjects or topics.

Web users must be very careful before surfing to any website that offers tempting offers (too good to be true) or high profile tempestuous pictures and graphics/media.

Malware Removal More Difficult Than Ever

PC Virus Doctors' Dallas Computer Repair have noticed an increase in the ability of malware authors to hide their warez and go undetectable my most anti-malware vendors. The trojans are primarily associated with rogue/fake malware removers. These hidden trojans make the repair process more difficult and time consuming.

Microsoft updates are important and several updates have been released recently. 10 Windows XP security and other updates where installed on our computers within the last few days with speculation that malware authors had once again exploited Microsoft's operating systems.

Firefox V.3 Combats Malicious Sites

According to Dallas Computer Repair, Firefox V.3, due out toward the end of the year, will combat malicious sites that attempt to download malware, usually trojans, onto unsuspecting users computers. Sophos reported that 5,000 new malicious sites were created in April but by June the number of new sites jumped to 30,000.
